TAMIA’S Spring/Summer 2023 ready to wear resort collection, "LEVANT”, is inspired by the people, culture and traditions of Levantine, focusing on the luxuries of life which have been carried out and adored from one era to the other. It highlights the idea of Escapism, elegance, and femininity, allowing one to experience life beyond their mundane lifestyle.
Delicate fabrics and embroideries are the body of this collection. Sleek Minimalism synthesised with extravagance, It nods to middle eastern culture whilst incorporating mainstream western silhouettes. Gold and delicate embroidery styles will be mimicked onto the fabric and hold a flattering sheath silhouette to emphasise the natural shape and curves of all women.
Not only is the collection directly derived from culture and escapism but also the land- scapes the people walked amongst, even reflecting modern luxuries in some designs with a more simplistic element. The landscape is seen in the embellishments as they create different shapes.
